Transport

Driving

Most guests bring their own vehicle to Retallack.

Please see the Getting Around the Resort page for information relating to driving, parking and charging vehicles on site.

Taxi / Uber, etc

A number of local taxi firms will pick up and drop down at the resort.

It may be difficult for the driver to locate your property, so it would be helpful if you could provide them with the exact location, using what3words or a precise Google Maps location. This may be listed on the Notes page for your property if it has an entry on this website.

Bus

Transport for Cornwall and First Bus are the main service providers in this area of Cornwall.

You can catch buses to Wadebridge, Newquay and Bodmin from a stop near the Winnard’s Perch roundabout (turn right out of the resort). Click here for a map of the exact locations.

Service 92 goes between Newquay and Wadebridge roughly once an hour (less frequently on Sundays), stopping at the Birds of Prey Centre.

The 405 goes to and from Bodmin once a day on weekdays.

It is not easy to get to Padstow by bus, but the open-top Atlantic Coaster service runs frequently from Padstow to Newquay during the summer season.

Train

The GWR mainline from London Paddington runs through Bodmin Parkway, Par, St Austell and Truro on its way to Penzance.

Overview of Devon and Cornwall’s rail network

A branch line runs from Par to Newquay, with the nearest stop to the resort being at St Columb Road.

Air

Cornwall Airport Newquay is only 7 miles by road from the resort. It is served by flights from many UK and European destinations.
